naughty natalie

i have tried to get this voiser to work on my tt but every time i try it stops all sounds untill i delete it ,on some files, its number 125 ,have changed the number to12 because some where i read that some tts will not run voises with numbers over 99,also tried deleting all other voises still no good,what can i do ,any help please,only want her on for a laugh on a long drive

Naughty Natalie is data42.

ok The files i had said 125 but i have changed it to 42 and when i put that in it still freezes my sound in voises and shows up as ERRA,Melayu in the vioce list

This is my version of Naughty Natalie, Works 100% but shows up in the voice list as Erra of Malaysia

Confirm you have a data42.bmp, a data42.chk & a data42.vif in a voices older in your unit's root. Disregard the weird name.

Yep. Same here.

Yes these 3 files are in voice folder in root
before i put them in all voices work when i put her on my voices stop working

Confirm the folder is named voices & not voice as you indicate above. Did you download FatBoy's .rar in post 4?

Do you have another voice numbered 42? Maybe one of the .vif's is wrong for an existing voice.

yes its voices ,and only 3 files with 42
all othere voices wored before i put these 3files in voices

Try my copy above, maybe yours is corrupted.

Ok i have deleted all voices in voises folder and have put the 3 files you posted in voises file
no i have Erra melayu showing up in file and also Samantha english us computer,and also Tom english us computer
now thy so not show up as being in voices folder on computer would thy be playing

I only have experience with the PDA version of Tomtom which doesn't support Computer voices, but i think (Maybe wrongly, TD confirm?) that they are a map feature and would be in the map folder, What other voices did you have before? The PDA version doesn't run very well with lots of voices installed, I only keep five voices on my device.

i have several voices on but i used john cleese the most have had clint eastwood all worked no trouble ,this voice so far is the one that my unit will not work with

Does it work when it's the only voice in the folder? Check if there's a "data42.chk.dct" file present, If there is then the voice won't work so delete it.
