Navcore 9.401 Fan Edition

Postby morris123 » Tue May 27, 2014 7:39 am

Hi everyone,

I have a small problem. I have bought a Toyota Aygo with a build in Tomtom Toyota II/Eclipse II. I have been wanting to update the maps for a while now. None of the navcores on the internet work however. Except for the 9.401 Fan edition. I have seen multiple people report it to work. I would very much like to aquire this NC. All the links provided by Downunder35 across sites and by other people on the forums are not working. Could someone help me out by sending me this navcore directly or give me a working link? That would be very very appreaciated. Also, i know this Tomtom is old and this navcore aswell, but i cannot change the TT in the Aygo dock, so this will have to do. Thanks in advance,

Kind regards,

Morris

There are 3 links to 9.401 here: V8 & V9 Navcores

If none of them work for you, then try a google search.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. However, when i said i looked across sites and fora, i meant i searched. That means using Google. That means i looked all over the place. The links that you sent me of course work. But that is not the NC i was looking for. Like i said in the title and my post i am looking for the Fan Edition of 9.401. I am not completely clear on what the difference is between that one and the normal 9.401, but i have already tried the 9.401 multiple times and it does not work. My last resort was using this mythical Fan Edition.

Kind regards,

Morris

1. We are pretty good at what we do, but we are not mind readers. Our help is only as good as the info that members give us to work with. Generic info isn't much help to us.
2. I gave you the link because I am not aware of a "FAN Edition", & you didn't mention having tried any other 9.401 versions. Our help is only as good as the info that members give us to work with.
3. Nor am I.
4. Now you tell us.
5. Good Luck. Please post an update, if you make any progress.

I suspect you know that the current official navcore for a Toyota II - Eclipse II is 7.827

Hi,
I am sorry if you feel like i offended. English is not my native language and expressing myself in written text is not always easy. Yes i do know that 7.827 is the latest official version. I have that version installed at the moment. I, and many others, cannot however, get the newer maps to work on this Navcore. I have seen 2 reports of people getting the 9.401 Fan Edition working on the Toyota II. I have not seen any people getting other navcores except the 7.827 to work. If you or anyone else has any idea of any Navcore that could work on this device, please let me know and i will try it. Thanks in advance and please excuse me if i offend with any text, it is not my intention.

Kind regards,

Morris

I was not offended, and I see nothing wrong with your English. My intent was to point out that more details gets you a better answer.
