Hi, this looked like the perfect navcore for my One XL (v9) and 895.4447 map but I'm really struggling to get things working smoothly. I've tried everything in the thread but I can't seem to find a setting that makes the device run smoothly and not crash or stutter on voices. Free memory definitely seems to be OK and is often up around 8MB.
I've tried all the skins and not really bothered which one I use, just want it to be responsive and not crash. I'm not even bothered about the TTS stuff because I live in Spain but speak English and the English voices really can't cope with Spanish road names/places! Can I disable this feature?
Would I just be better going back to the current standard TomTom navcore for my device (whatever that is) or is there something else I can try?

XL is always tricky but should manage with this NC as it is an older model and not a LIVE I guess?
If the TTS is your only problem :
Spanish: (American)[Please Register or Login to download file] [Please Register or Login to download file] Spanish: (Castilian)[Please Register or Login to download file] [Please Register or Login to download file] English: (US)Download the .cab of the voice(s) you prefer and use Winrar to unpack into into your LoquendoTTS folder -
if asked to overwrite files say no!
Just to explain:
If you overwrite the Loquendo patch is lost and you have to overwrite the content of the "bin" inside LoquendoTTS with the content of the bin folder inside LoquendoTTS from my archive.
After that you select a spanish voice of your choice for the output

Many thanks
Yes, it's an old one and not a Live
I definitely think it's something to do with the TTS though. Last night I did another clean install, deleted the contents of the Loquendo folder, copied my old Voices folder over, booted up, prepared a route and then ran the demo and everything is running perfectly. As I said, I'm not that bothered about the TTS anyway and this plus the 4447 map gives me ALG so a step up. Before, even navigating around a map was like running through treacle so quite strange!
Thanks again for the NC and fingerscrossed it keeps playing ball :D
