I installed as per the instructions in post #23 (also added latest speed cams as per 28/12/11) but since then I have been experiencing an issue with the sound cutting out on my TomTom, usually during long journeys (after about 2 hours the audio just stops). Everything else continues to work fine, but there is no voice guidance. The only way to get it back is to reboot the unit, after which it seems to forget where I was previously (the location returns to my Home), and it takes an age to re-establish a GPS fix. I am using one of the default voices (ie. no extra celeb/premium voices). Is this is known issue? Any suggestions on how to fix if not?

Is there a different/newer app version I could install to try and fix this? Not concerned about getting the very latest features, just ALG and IQR.

So the above Map worked fine for most of the year, then all of a sudden I get the same issue with the voice cutting out again. Seems odd that I would get no problems for months, then one day it just starts playing up again. I've done no updates, and not so much as connected the TomTom to my PC since installing the new map. Only thing of note is that I got a pop-up message complaining about the age of my map shortly before the issue started again. Any ideas as to why this might occur? I thought about trying to install a newer map, but I cant find a newer one for the app version I was advised to install earlier in this thread with ALG and IQR, as none seem to have meta data available.

Please run TomTom Current Configuration {13.11.2011} , so we don't give you bad advice. Post the results here.

If nothing changed: have you tried a hard reset followed by the TT clear flash tool?
The procedure is recommended for problems that seem to have no clear origin.
