Navcore for Rider

tendriver,

1) Any help for which navcore and map i can use.
2) I loaded the original navcore and map back on and now it is asking for the code for the map which we don't have.
3) I cant see what navcore it is as it wont let me fully load until the map is chosen. If i can find out which navcore it is running, any help to find that out, you might be able to help choose the latest map for the navcore version.

1. My apologies for not replying sooner. Use 7.901 for now. Look at the map compat chart in post 1 of the 865 map thread for a usable map.

i installed map Europe_West_865_3246 and i now have 'no maps found' on the device. Any ideas

Try Europe_West_865_3259.

Tried this map but still have the 'No map found'

Confirm that you are seeing "no map found" on the unit & not TT Home. Confirm that when you open the 3259 map folder, you do not see just a single folder, but you do see a bunch of files. Also, what is the bootloader version.

no map found is via the unit on reboot and not via tomtom home.

Looking at the map folder pic & not seeing a Europe_West-307.meta.dct file tells me that the map is not patched.

i have attached a file which shows the meta file as a .dct, hope this helps.

In that same map folder window, go Tools, Folder options, View. Scroll down to see if "Hide extentions for know file types" is checked. If so, uncheck it & look at the map files.

Navitotal had a software problem. As a result some of the last posts in this thread were lost. My last post was based on your pic of FastActivate. You stated that nothing happened when you clicked "Enter". My question was, "Are you just clicking Enter or "Y & Enter".

if i type Y then enter, but i still do not see the screen with the 4 buttons you can click.
