Thanks for the info. I have the same HW but currently running 9.103. Any reason to update to this one? Also I noted that my transfer speed via USB has been drastically reduced since I have upgraded to navcores newer than the official one. It seems like the usb connection is stopping at some point and then coming back with no reason and Win 7 (and Win XP so it is not OS related) shows transfer speeds of about 100 kB/s max. It takes ages to simply copy a map to the internal memory of the device... Any clues on that? I have already used clearflashtool but it did not fix anything.
Cheers.

There is nothing to gain apart from having the latest version, the usb transfer speed is linkd to your bootloader, so what version bootloader are you running ??

Hi,
yes it is definitely slow but mine is now very very slow. It takes like 4 hours to copy a single 400 MB map. This is apprently due to bootloader. Is there a way to change the bootloader back without changing navcore?

If hard reset is done by pressing power button during 20 sec up to the factory menu then I have done that several times already but it did not fixed anything.

If you have a pin-hole reset button underneath that is the reset button if not on/off button is your reset button
 • Hold reset button for 30 seconds
 • Hold on/off button for 5 seconds (You should see black config screen)
 • Press reset button just untill unit turns off
 • Turn on as normall.

done but still having the issue. The copy starts at 768 kB/s and then stalls (no activity shown on tomtom screen suring that time) for a while and then carries on again. Any ways to revert back to another earlier bootloader?

on a side note, every time I plug my tomtom onto my win 7 computer, it asks if I want to analyse and repair the disk. I followed that once but no good result after.

Ok there is a way to go back to an older bootloader but i have not tested this ,So it is Completly use at your own risk, I will supply you with the information, But wil not supply you with the 0.0001 bootloader please use google for this.

There is special bootloader 0.0001.rar available on numerous sites , extract the file "system" inside to your root directory and leave it finish installing, it will take longer than normall to startup but DO NOT interrupt at all and make shure you have a fully charged battery before you start.

Then with 0.0001 system file installed you can install any bootloader you choose,

Hello,
I'm also interested in installing Navcore on my Tomtom One XL v9, but links for 9.2 version aren't available. Which Navcore version suits best for my device?

Code: Select all
DeviceID=XXXXXXXXXX
DeviceVersionHW=ONE XL (v9)
DeviceSerialNumber=XXXXXXXXXXXX

ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8083
TTSystem 3172295 bytes, modified 16.07.2013 00:18
PNDNavigator 4906292 bytes, modified 16.07.2013 00:18
BootLoaderVersion=55136
RDS/TMC 'mctx.dat' size 44 bytes
CurrentMap=
CurrentMapVersion=0.0
HelpFileVersion = 20090617

Before this post, I've tried to update my device via Tomtom Home application. Few times it gets stucked during the update. Later, I've found that I have connected device via USB3 port. I've plug the cable to USB2 port, and, because partition was corrupted, I've used Low Level format tool to wipe the partition. (Yes, I've made a backup before upgrade.) Then, I've connected device to my computer, started Tomtom Home application, updated my device, and all went flawlessly. Now, I don't have any maps on my device. So, I've decided to install newer version of Navcore and newer maps, and I came here.
