OK, we can rule out that issue.
Try: Cut everything on the internal & paste it in a new folder on your desktop.
Transfer everything on the card to the internal. Disconnect, remove the card & reboot. This should tell if it is a hardware or software problem

Certainly. That is the only reason for cutting & pasting.

I have backed up IM.
Now I am going to
copy the files from SD card to IM. Do I need to delete the files from IM or jusst overwrite with SD card?

I did what in post 49.
1) Restart TT, was able to see the map.
2) Created home location.
3) Created a favorite.
4) Tried to navigate to favorite created aboe and TT started rebooting.
5) Did a hard reset.
Now upon starting TT I get a legal notice (a bar appears at the top saying writing route instructiOns), I click on Agree and TT reboots. PLEASE HELP... I will wait for the next step.

Please check if you have any spaces or special characters in your folder name, if so rename the folder to somthing simple like 855map.
Delete the file mapsettings.cfg inside the map folder.
Delete the following files in the root of your device: CurrentMap.dat, CurrentLocation.dat, Settings.dat, UserPatch.dat
Restart the TT and report back.

Deleted the files as CurrentMap.dat, CurrentLocation.dat, Settings.dat, UserPatch.dat. There was no mapsetting.cfg file in the map folder.
Restart TT and it started fine.
Added home location.
Added One favorite.
Tried to navigate to the favorite and TT rebooted.
Now it does not go pass the legal notice (a bar appears at the top saying writing route instructiOns)

What about "Please check if you have any spaces or special characters in your folder name, if so rename the folder to something simple like 855map
Redo the steps and don't add favourites or home location, shut down, reset and restart, now try a simple route.
How much free ram is displayed on the status page?

The map folder is named as "NA_880.3810". CAN THIS BE A PROBLEM?
