navcore update

Postby jt98 » Sun Jan 29, 2012 2:01 pm

Ok I am doing as in post 72.
1)Started with empty IM.
2)Installed Application (navcore) using TThOME (I guess it picks up the files from backup done using TTHome).
3) Unzip "9.205.rider3.CAB-navcore-RIDER" on local drive and copy on IM overwritng all files.
4) Copy and Run Fast activator tool on IM. Option 3 and 4.
5) Copy patched NA map on IM.
6) Disconnect TT and restart. After restarting see a warning something like "not all available voices can be used with current language. You wll not be able to use voice....". Click continue and now see my home location on the map.
7) PLEASE let me know the next step.

THANKS YOU ALL FOR THE HARD WORK AND YOUR HELP. YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST.
I GOT MY TT WORKING NOW. Below are the stpes I did.
1) Delete TT IM.
2) Via TTHome download the TT application(online version).
3) Disconnect and resrat TT which created TTGO.BIF.
4) Reconnect TT to TTHOME.
5) Download "SE_Navcore.9.205.547817_32mb_devices.rar (Widescreen ONLY)" from
http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?2831-TomTom-Automatic-Navcore-Installation
6) Run the exe and overwrite the files on IM.
7) Copy the patched map 880.3868 (the one that worked with original navcore 8351).
8) Reboot TT and create home, favorite. Doa route demo to the favorite.'"
Only question I have is when I started TT it shows ?
"None of the available voices can be used with the current language. You will not hear any spoken Instruction"
