I started again with a formated memory card with the map & ttgo.bif.
But used the pc card reader not the tt unit.
Ran like a dream so it looks like the best way to update is to use a card reader.

WTG!! Congrats.

BTW, we never recommend formatting anything, except in the most severe cases.

I don't see why not, your device has enough Ram and Cpu power anyway.
If the standard CAB won't work, give my version a try.

Hi pll, I did with Easy Activator to patch navcore system and fastactive for maps, speedcam... work like a charm, but dont like this new version, the old version 9.061 for my is better, (my opinion) TT One XL IQ Routes 2g internal memory only. map 880. europe, waiting for 885 :) regards.

1. FastActivate Premium will patch it all. There is no need for 2 different patchers.
2. What didn't you like about 9.400?

Hi,

I assume thats what has just disabled my device then. I connected to Home and let it download a 55mb update which disabled my maps allthough I am using Navcore 9.205.
Fortunately I backed up and restored it back OK.

The 9.400 navcore download did not disable your maps. As with any new navcore, you must patch it to function with patched maps.

Hi Tendriver,

It wasnt clear to me at the time that the download from Home was a navcore update ( if thats what it was).
What is the best way to patch it, using 'FastActivate' ?.
