Bravo!!! It does the trick, but no more voice command and "Eco Route" I guess we can only get one thing or another. Thanks tendriver.
Side question, is tomtom server for safety camera down? Whenever I connect to tomtom Home, it says there's an update version; however, everytime I click on "update and install", the error message pop up "The internet server had intternal error..." In the meantime, another 920T [navcore 9.026, US_Can_Mex_P version 8.85.4097] does not have is error.

1. Just 1 of the cons to using a patched navcore.
2. I have been getting this error on 2 different GOs using 2 different puters. At this point, I don't have an answer why.

Just tested the 9401 SE Version on my go520.
The + button in the left upper corner dosn´t work. it will normally zoom in on the map.
When i push the button it gives a error sound and nothing happens.
the - button on the right side works perfect.
anyone have an idea how to fix this??
Are there a setting that i can do?

I guess you hear a camera sound - not an error sound.
It is the screenshot function, if you don't like/want it simply delete the folder "screen".

Hello all, with SE 9.401 i only have 13MB of free ram on my GO530.. (around 18MB, 19MB before) is this normal on this navcore..?

Well..i haven't copied the Outsourced folder because i never did that with older navcores...simply because of having 64MB on my device. But i tried again with the Outsourced folder and i get around 23MB free ram as expected. But something must be "eating" more ram on this version

So, what are you going to do with all that free ram???

Run a sreensaver in between instruction ;) (sorry was a bad joke)
I get about 20-24mb depending what I do but would not worry even if I only had 10mb free.

I noticed that since setting up my GO920 with 9.400/401, TomTom Home doesn't load QuickGPSFix any more. Is this working as intended or is something borked on my device?
Manually loading and putting them onto the device sped up the acquisition of fix considerably.
In the ee_meta.txt, it says "Expiry=1332583835", which points to the 24th of March, so it should be long expired already.

No such problems here I get quick fix and map share updates with both the 9.401 and 9.421.
Have you activated the information sharing? It might block the usual updates.

It is still downloading the Map Share updates though.
Is that sharing thingie something other than Map Share?

I think you might just have a corrupted info for the quick fix.
Have you tried to replace the ephem folder with the one from a working backup (can be an old backup)?

Good thinking, the folder was missing a tlv file. Copying it there made TT Home update the QuickGPSfix.

It's often the little things that upset Home ;)
