Does anyone know if it is possible with TT to navigate to just the postcode only without having to input a house number?
Particularly when looking for business's the house number thing can be a proverbial pain. On streets where house numbers are not available (Usually on industrial estates) TT relies on the postcode only which will 9/10 take you strait to the business premisses.
However on a road with mixed commercial and residential properties, TT insists that you enter the house number (even on the truck maps). The result being that the nearest available house number, could and quite often is a couple of miles down the road from where you need to be. This somewhat defeats the point of having a satnav.

you can just press "Done" when it asks for a house number and it will take you to the middle of that postcode by default

Not sure if this varies on different models, but on my 930, there is no option to select "Done" during the "Navigate to Postcode" process. Using navigate to "Street and House number" only allows input of the 1st part of a postcode, not a full one.
Using "Navigate to Postcode", if you clear the number displayed and press "OK" it will insist that you enter a house number and will not proceed until you enter a number between the range shown. A classic example of this today was with a postcode for Stourbridge Road Bromsgrove. It insisted I entered a number between 2 - 2xxx. Having entered 2 as a guess, the satnav took me 3.5 miles down the road from where I actually needed.

I do believe that you have answered your own question.

To enter a full postcode you need to update the zip folder download this link below and extract the contents to a folder called "zip" in the root of your device,

Thanks m8
@maa1506 Please use the zip folder then see if your problem is solved, BTW why dont you use a newer navcore i know 8.351 is your latest officiall but your device will easily run the v9 navcores

Thanks for the replies. Sorry for the confusion, the zip folder is on both the sd and internal drive. I can enter full postcodes using the navigate to postcode option, but not using the navigate by street function, which I assume is the norm. 99.9% of the time I use the SD card with truck map 845.2649 with navcore 8.369. I am assuming that although I can use v9 navcores, they will not operate the truck attributes on the map?

That is correct you could put v9 navcore on the internal , but for truck you need a truck navcore , 8.369 is not a truck navcore ? do you mean 8.396 ?

Sorry yes it is 8.396. I have since tried installing standard Europe maps with navcore 9.026 and it is possible to navigate to just the post code only. I guess I will just have to hope that someone will develop a modified truck navcore that will allow the same feature to be operated on truck maps. Thanks to all for the replies and assistance.
