Yes, this map is not very useful and I would like to upgrade it.
After 3 hours to read topics, tuto and so on, I must say that I'm completly confused

Sometimes I read that I mus upgrade my navcore, and sometimes it's not necessary, sometimes that I only have to put a new map in the SD Card and It will work with all maps, sometimes that I must find a specific map for my navcore and find a Metacode

Coould you please help to update my TT ?

Ok, so you've got a TT One XL IQ Routes? This model has no SD card slot...correct?

If so, your device has internal storage space of 2GB and you've already said that your navcore is NC 9.510 which is compatible with all maps available to download here.

So all you need to do is to download & install a new map and then activate it:

1. Backup your current setup to a safe place
2. Download Europe West 995.8507 = 1.17GB from [Please Register or Login to download file] (PW: navitotal)
3. Once downloaded, delete your old map from your device and replace it with the new map you've downloaded & extracted
4. Now to activate....download FastActivate from here and extract it to the root of your device.
5. Run FastActivate from that location and select options 2 & 3 (waiting for successful messages each time)
6. Done.

1. Now that's done, you might want to install the relevant SpeedCams from here (instructions are provided on the page)
2. If you run it through TomTom Home software, you'll get further updates which include GPSFix which will help your device get a satellite lock much faster
3. After that is all done, it would be a good time to backup the whole system...just in case

Yes, now you know the process & that you have NC 9.510, it will be easy to follow the tutorial in the future
