Need help on tomtom one V4

Postby Sandro57 » Tue Apr 16, 2013 1:01 pm

Hi everyone ,

I've tried to upgrade this brand from nav 8.014 (bl=5.5019) to nav 9.205.547817.1 with map Europe west 905.4757 but it doesn't work . it can't create the new ttgo.bif file. I think i've done something wrong...

Here the old one :

DeviceName=TomTom ONE
DeviceVersionHW=ONE (v8)
RamDiskVersion=20080613
BootLoaderVersion=55019
LinuxVersion=198799
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8014
ApplicationVersion=9372
UserLanguage=Français
LastConnectionTime=Never
GPSFirmwareVersion=
CurrentMap=Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB
CurrentMapVersion=725.1915

Could someone can help me step by step ?
Thanks in advance

We will be happy to help, if you will help us by posting what you did step by step. Also describe "but it doesn't work".

Hi ,
In fact it start with the tomtom logo and after a few second it shut down.I have to connect it on tomtom home to see the files and so there is no ttgo.bif file created .Notice that i've done a back-up of the brand before so i have the old ttgo.bif file.
Is there a solution ?

To make things short:
Since you got a backup, delete all on the device,
install my 9.485 with Memory Boost,
copy over your old ttgo.bif (into the root of the device),
select a map from the 905 map collection thread - make sure the map has a meta coded postet!,
follow the instruction in the map thread and use the latest version of FastActivate for the map.
Ready to go;)
You can add other content like voices once you got all running.
