need help with tom tom go 910

hello, basically i have a tom tom go 910, and well a mate said he could update it and ended up deleting the maps i need for the u.k, wondering if anyone can help me install, uk maps, and with a full tutorial on how to do it as a neebie as i wouldnt have a clue what to do, thank you :)

Run TT Home "update my go" & it should reinstall the last official map that you had loaded.

no it was just a standard tom tom go 910, never been tampered with or anything, thats why im asking can someone explain how to put the u.k and ireland map on, and what is navcore? cheers

Your mate has your 910 all screwed up. Delete the ttgo.bak & ttgo.ori files. Disconnect & reboot the unit, then reconnect the unit & run TomTom Current Configuration {29.09.2011} again.

Download this map: United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_880_3811 Unzip & copy the unzipped map folder into your 910.

Go here: AutoActivate & FastActivate 1.8.8.1 Read the instructions carefully. Select the Premium version. Run FA Premium. Click all 4 buttons, 1 at a time, from left to right.

Disconnect & reboot.
