Hi everyone.
I recently bought a TomTom Go Essential (model 4PN50.001.02) and I would like to change / update the map to truck version. There is no option in the device or inside TomTom MyDrive that allows me to change the version of the map. I have been reasearching this problem for quite a few days now and it has been really hard to find anything about this device. I'm guessing the only way possible is via MicroSD card, downloading the map and installing it? Because I've been searching the web for days and I cound't find a thing. I'm a total newbie in this matter and I would really appreciate some help. Could you guys help me with this? Thanks in advance.

No device built after September 2012 that uses the MyDrive software can be updated or modified other than buying a new map from TomTom direct...read this:
