new member here from UK

I've got tt go 910 with no maps on it i think someone must have formatted the HDD, how can i get the maps back? I don't have a clue on how install the maps please help.

What map coverage do you need?

The 910 can run the 9.430 NC, giving you the option to use the latest Navcore and full featured maps.
You need to update your Bootloader to 5.5012 or 5.5120 for that.
5.5120 is included in the 8.351NC in case you can't find a link.
If the 9.430 won't start properly on your device let me know and I upload a version with better support for the CF HDD in your device.
For the UK only it would be the 4022 map of the UK posted in the 890 map thread.

I confirm that Downunder35's 9.430 runs fine on my GO910, with B/L 5.5229.
Be aware that RDS/TMC is not available and, on my 910, it must be turned on before putting on car mount and removed from car mount before power is turned off to the car mount or a 'pin reset' is required. Another oddity with my 910, if it is turned off with a route planned (not deleted) a pin reset is often required.

UK and Ireland coverage please. I went to the 890 map thread i've tried downloading FastActiviate but for some reason the download stopped at 31% i refreshed the dl but no luck

4022 is a typo. 4222 is correct.

My fault, I meant the 4222 - it is full featured.

i've downloaded the maps and the FastActiviate now do i just paste them in the HDD? is there a specific folder they go into?

Confirm you have loaded a 9.XXXX navcore to the unit. If so, unzip the map. It will create it's own folder. Copy the folder to the HDD. Copy FastActivate Premium to the HDD & patch the map.

Disconnect & reboot.

sry i still need help, i've formatted the HDD and extracted 9.430.1-2008.go.CAB-navcore-GO.rar, UK_4222.rar and the fastactivate.exe and executed it. restarted the nav many times and still displays no maps. I dont know what im doing wrong.

is this info right? I've patched the bootloader to 55120, still not working :|, when i upload the 9.430.1-2008.go.CAB-navcore-GO to the hdd the nav stops at the tomtom boot screen, the only way to make it load like normal i have to go to tomtom home and update it.
Also tomtom home says that i've got the maps.

This could be because of the missing CF support.
Try a hard reset folloed by the TT clear flash tool.
I'm currently uploading a version with added CF support that you can try.
