Download the map of your choice - for the UK I suggest the UK and Ireland 880.3810
Use FastActivate to activate the map and if necessary to patch the Navcore.
Enjoy ;)

but don't I have to have a matching Navcore? or is patching the 9.058 navcore okay?

for example whats the difference between 810.XXXX

United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_880_3811

United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_880_3865

United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland 880.3866

There is no such thing as a "matching Navcore". There are compatible navcores. 880.3810 is compatible with navcores 8.2XX & higher. So patch 9.058.

oh okay I just found the compatibility chart on the map thread. my bad

With this will the driver get the LIVE mode, i.e live traffic updates ect?

i'm guessing thats what the XL LIVE IQ Routes Edition is?

EDIT: AHHHH is that why you guys suggested the .3810 because it has IQ routes and Cspeech (what ever cspeech is?)

can somebody explain what all the things on the chart mean please for future reference
