I need help please about 3 edition Tomtom one.

actually my map is French 960.7075 for tomtom one 3rd NAVCORE 8.010

memory inside is 512 Mb.

What is the new map that my Tomtom can play because the staff of Tomtom said that is finish

What is number for french map only ?

The latest French map is: France 990.8306

The problem is that it will not work on your navcore 8.010

You could try and install a newer navcore but then the second problem will be that you might not have enough space with only 512MB available.

so map mybe more old like: Maps 985/986.XXXX or Maps 980/981.XXXX,, if it's better for my tomtom. I will use it with pleasure

someone has an idea please ?

give me or where can i find the index of the old cards compatible with my tomtom : like MAP 960.7075 AND MAP XXX.XXX etc....

First make backup so that you always set the backup back.
How much memory do you really have from the 512MB after deleting everything.

So I understand you have 471MB availble
So what you can do is next Approx 455 MB

*) Instal navcore 9510

Delete file POI.DAT then you have enough place only NO POI,S ANYMORE

1) Make a backup of your Device and delete the map.

Copie the chosen map to your Device in his own folder.
If you open the map you see the loose files and probably a folder (brand).
Not a map in a map.

2) Copy "FastActivate.exe" and
file integrated_meta.txt to your TomTom device in the root
[Please Register or Login to download file]
Run "FastActivate.exe".
Select 2

I am actually in 970.7490 with nav 8.010..work nice..I do update with "tomtom home" for sattelite and only Card correction; nothing else can work ( no icon for cars etc..).

it's work nice:
So map France 990.8316 is good. juste 1Mo free inside my tomtom.

I delete: for more place.
sound for android et sound , arts cars just 1 stay ,lience,FastActivate ,Help,selct what king of voice boy or girl, i take the voice from 970.7490.

to do.
0-connect tomtom on computeur
1-Format your tomtom in Fat
2-Unzip navcore and fastActivate directly in tomtom
3-Unzip map in folder pc , then delete what i write upside.
4-take the map without what i write upside,and put in tomtom
5-Eject tomtom from computeur
6-start it , the map don't work
7-connect again in computer and use fastActivate and select 2
8-appreciate..

tomtom home just give gps localize and map corection, any idea for more ??

You said 1Mo free. I don,t know what you mean but I expect 1MB. You can test it in practice if it is 1 MB that is not enough. You need at least about 10MB ( preferable 20 MB).

No really 1,02 Mo free ,that 's it. i take "poi.dat" because it's fun, any idea about what delete ?

There is nothing else to delete apart from the poi.dat file.

You should follow holyhead's advice and delete that file because the new navcore needs some free space to increase the RAM via the swap file when needed.
If you don't, you might find the device will slow down and reboot because it's running out of RAM.

Holyhead gives advice for a good reason, it shouldn't be ignored.
