From monstro900 was differend problem with the BNL and is not related to the fact that the map is not working.

In my device there's no mapsettings file since there's an error when switching to the 1050 map...

That is correct after the first start with a new map you got the file mapsettings.cfg. You map never worked
so that is the reason you don,t have that file.

I've some news, i've tested the Iberia 1050_10226 and worked like a charm in my Windows Mobile Navigator device, where the Iberia 1050_10182 doesn't work.
I'll test this same map in my One just to check, i think there's must be a problem with certain maps,
I've tested this 2 without sucess,
Iberia 1050_10180 - NOK
Iberia 1050_10182 - NOK

Thanks Mauzao, I've also tested Europe_1050_10226 and it works on my carminat (Scenic III 2010 navcore 8.843).

There is no extra functionnalities with this map but it's better than nothing!

The only 2 1050 maps working in my devices,
Iberia 1050_10186 - OK
Iberia 1050_10226 - OK

Megane Carminat 1050_10180 not work, but 1050_10226 work.

I strongly suspect that the meta code for 'Europe_Zone_West-102448.meta ; Europe_Zone_West 1050_10180' is incorrect.

Many people are experiencing issues activating that map (see the topics here, here, and here).

NOTE: The '.dct' activation file is generated by the tt8_keygen2 without a problem, but the keygen happily generates wrong '.dct' files if the wrong meta code was provided. Hence the suspicion that the meta code for that map is wrong.

I was thinking in the same direction, however in the past it was not possible to get a map activated with a wrong meta code ( dct error).
And what about Holyhead? He is able to get the maps, where mauzao has issues, activated and running on his devices?

The meta code is all right.
Use the following procedure
Download the latest FastAktive
1.Update Meta.txt
after that don,t Quit the program
2.Patch Map
Done
Quit the program

If you want the activate another map after you have Quit the program.
following
1. Update Meta.txt
2. Patch Maps
Done
Quit

I agree...for testing purposes, I've just downloaded & installed Europe_Zone_West 1050_10180 on my old One XL (NC 9.541) and it activates and runs with no problems whatsoever which makes me wonder if there might be a corruption within some members maps.

Meanwhile I have dl'ed the Western_Europe_1_1050.10185 map (which misses AT & DE). It activates and runs smoothly
btw I activate a map like Holyhead's advising.
