Sorry, issue only seems to be with 'Simon' Voice... Also, is there a way to patch TomTom HOME?

Below are 2 fixs , 1 To patch TT Home and the other to fix the Wrong Version error message in tomtom home, they are not needed for the working of your unit only to remove that error message and so you can use the "operate my device" emulator in tthome

Please delite the loquendo TTS folder and Reinstall the simon computer voice and any others you need with TT Home

Ok to fix the wrong version error you need to do the following
Change lines 9 + 10 in ttgo.bif to read Latest officiall navcore for your device
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8351
ApplicationVersion=9982

3.Save the file as ttgo.bak
4.Reboot your device
5.Connect to tthome and that error should not show up now

To patch tomtom home
you must connect to tthome choose button "Operate my device" tthome will now offer
to download a package of files amongst these is the file you need to patch. when downloaded
close tthome and download FastActivate 1.2
run the keygen from your pc and choose "Patch TomTom Home" this will now
patch tthome and let you use the "operate my device" feature there is no need to patch tthome
unless you want to use this emulator.

If you have to use this fix: Ok to fix the wrong version error you need to do the following

Then start this fix: To patch tomtom home
HERE: run FastActivate 1.3 from your pc and choose "Patch TomTom Home". This will now
patch tthome and let you use the "operate my device" feature. There is no need to patch tthome,
unless you want to use this emulator.

  • Ok do it this way open your ttgo.bif DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING and save as ttgo.bak
  • Now open ttgo.bif change lines 9+10 like below, use the actuall navcore figures in use

    09. ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9103
    10. ApplicationVersion=539753

    .
  • Save the file as ttgo.ori
  • Reboot your device
  • Connect to tthome and that error should not show up now

1. Reboot here.

2. Lines 9 & 10 in the ttgo.ori file should read the "actual" navcore in use,
not:
9. ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8351
10. ApplicationVersion=9982

Lines 9 & 10 of the ttgo.bif & ttgo.bak files reflect the "official" navcore. Lines 9 & 10 of the ttgo.ori file reflects the "actual" navcore in use.

Yes thanks for correcting me about your point 2 ttgo.ori must use the figures from the actuall navcore used, see latest navcore thread if you are unsure about the figures, i have had a bad few days this is a typo error. ;)
