newbie questions

Hi all,

I just bought a TomTom One IQ Routes (Canada 310 N14644) and I was so stupid that I already broke my device. I whiped some of the files on the internal memory (the map I think) and now I get a notification that no maps are there on my TT. I downloaded TT Home but there I have to pay for the maps that I got free when I bought it! :snooty:. What do I need to do now to get my TT work again? Here is some info that I gathered with one of the tutorials that you guys maybe need?:

TTGO.BIF:
DeviceName=TomTom ONE IQ Routes Edition
DeviceVersionHW=ONE IQ Routes Edition
BootLoaderVersion=10012
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9053
ApplicationVersion=520930.2
CurrentMap=
CurrentMapVersion=0.0
TTGO.BAK:

TTGO.ORI:
Not Found...

Connect your unit to your computer. Open windows explorer. Open the unit by clicking the Drive letter for it. Is there a map folder listed in the memory?

Download the map of your choice, based on your navcore & memory space available.
Go here: FastActivate ENG 29.05.2011 {1.8.7.0} Read the instructions. Download the Premium version to patch your navcore & map.

You are correct, but the navcore can easely be returned to the original.
1. Replace the patched ttsystem file from your backup.
2. If no backup, then download the .cab file for the navcore that you have & use the unpatched ttsystem file in it.
