You have to enter the captcha/passwort and click on the download link/button for the file - don't click on the ads!
If in doubt you can use Jdownloader and past the link there, JD will take over and prompt you for all passwords, captchas and so on.

You answered my question, but it isn't much help, because there are 6 collections sets of 885 edition maps in this thread.

I deleted everything from my TomTom folder except the 2 files ttgo.bif and ttsystem. I then used winrar to extract the map USA and Canada 885_4092 into my TomTom folder. I then used autoactivate and fastactivate. I think thats all I did :)

1. Why did you do this????? What are you referring to as your TomTom folder?
2. Do you mean you extracted the USA & C 885.4092 folder into whatever your TomTom folder is?
3. There is no mention of installing a navcore.

1. Under Automatic Installer instructions it says...The only two files you need on your SD card are ttgo.bif and ttsystem.
So I assumed I would delete everything else on my TomTom, I do not have a card.

2. Yes I extracted the map into my TomTom
3.I asked this question in an earlier post...Perfect!! now...what Navacore do I need?
Your 8.083 is fine.

I don't even know what a Navcore is hehehe....I assumed, again, that the navcore stayed in the TomTom.

1. The instruction is for loading & patching a map on a SD card.
2. OK.
3. Navcore = Operating system. You deleted your navcore, when you removed everything but the ttgo.bif & ttsystem files.
4. Did you make a backup @ the beginning?
