Your 8.351 navcore looks good. Your 9.205 navcore is a disaster. It should look like the 8.351 navcore. The NA map looks ok, except I've never seen a DeletedLocalPOI file before.

My 8.351 downloaded file unzips like normal, but when I try to unzip, it asks me for about 80 files..(mostly bin)..."do you want to save this file?" But I just downloaded 9.205 again from the earlier post and reinstalling and overwriting.
**** Corrected *****..right clicked on the 9.205 nav.cab and "unblocked" and installed nice and easy. Now reinstalling everything again.

No Luck... uninstalled everything, reinstalled 8.351, then extracted 9.201 and accepted all overwrites. Then copied and pasted the last 2 files, and it is still doing the same thing when I touch for the menu.

Let's start over. Follow the instructions exactly!!
Remove everything from your 720, except the 3810 map folder.
Since you don't have a 8.351 backup, installing 8.351 from a .cab download is no help. Forget about 8.351.
Download http://download.tomtom.com/sweet/navcore/9.205.rider3.CAB-navcore-RIDER.cab Use Winrar & LEFT click, not RIGHT click, to unzip it & copy all folders & files to your unit, overwriting any common files.
Download these pre-patched files. http://www.2shared.com/file/3QOmGU7N/9205.html Unzip & copy them to your unit, overwriting any common files.
Disconnect & reboot.

Explanation: Right clicking 9.205 is causing ALL of the files, .bmps, EULAs etc, to be extracted from their folders, to the map folder.

I deleted everything, connected to TT Home, and used update (3 times) to get me to the latest navcore (8.351), I added the map and used fastactivate. Everything is working normal..... I just dont have the 9.205 Navcore. I still think when I try to extact the .cab file it isnt installing correctly.

Thanks everyone for the help and I finally have a "updated" TT, and a little more comy with the procedures now!

That is exactly what I am telling you in post 36 & reposted below!!!!!

Download [Please Register or Login to download file] Use Winrar & LEFT click, not RIGHT click, to unzip it & copy all folders & files to your unit, overwriting any common files.
