try a hard reset...

hold down the POWER button for 30 sec...

if you a have a reset pin-hole, use that for 30 sec...

then see if it boots...

i suggest you remove everything thats on your TomTom GO 730

make it 100% empty

then, download NAvCore 9.051 like i have

part1 -->http://www.navitotal.com/forums/noref.php?url=http://download.tomtom.com/sweet/navcore/9.051.xxl2010.CAB-navcore-XXL.cab
part2 -->http://www.navitotal.com/forums/noref.php?url=http://protect-my-links.com/?id=q5byb3gn

and then extract part1 onto your Device
and then extract part2 onto your Device (overwrite files if asked)

report back

Clear your internal memory. Copy your backup & old map to the internal. reboot.

MAPS 8.45 are the most recent...

although 8.50 MAPS are soon to be released from TOMTOM....

Australia_845_2661 (120.8 MB) is a perfect full featured MAP...

get it :)

but you'll have to activate it in order to make it work
