It's totaly impossible to change this Bootloader, it's special created by TomTom due to some hardware problems with this device
Not realy honest from the TomTom Company
But it must be still possible to install new maps, try to install Navcore 9.510 for 32MB devices

Or use maps which are supported by your Navcore version 1005_8767, 8768, 8769, 8819, 8821 when map and meta available

I have downloaded Europe South 1GB 1005 8767 and there are errors, the first link contains Europe North 1GB 1005 8767 and in the second link map with Automatic Installer & Patcher is missing the archive part3.rar
Can you fix the errors?

If you have any problems with parts missing etc, you should PM the uploader so they can look into it for you...however, neither of the maps you mention have meta codes released so you're wasting your time downloading them
