Hello

I can only tell to you that you need to post here some more info about your current system. First connect your tomtom to pc and copy all there is from it to your hard drive. Like http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?885-How-to-Backup-your-TomTom-Device it is guided there.

Then after that you look from your tomtom tt*.bif file in my case its ttgo.bif file. You open it in notepad and copy info from there to this thread from top to the ApplicationVersion info list should look something like this

[TomTomGo]
DeviceName=
DeviceVersionHW=
DeviceSerialNumber=
DeviceUniqueID=
RamDiskVersion=
BootLoaderVersion=
LinuxVersion=
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=
ApplicationVersion=
UserLanguage=
UserName=
UserPassword=

! CAUTION NEVER POST DeviceSerialNumber DeviceUniqueID THESE ANYWHERE! LEAVE THEM EMPTY ! .

All so post your device's serial number from the bottom of it's case. In my case (4N00.004.2)

It helps them to help you.

You did that in post 1.

Go here: TomTom Automatic Navcore Installation Read the instructions carefully. Select: SE_Navcore.8.412.1236_32mb_devices.rar

Copy & patch your new map in your new card. Disconnect & reboot.

I've NavCore + new folder to put my SD card.
Then I visited my tomtom, but he gave a cross to the SD-CARD. What can that mean? I'm using my car to start, because I think he was empty. But what do I do now?

Because if I want to use the activation. Program says ttgo.bif or missing navigator
I am using SanDisk Ultra 2: SDHC 15MB/s 4GB.

Put the ttgo.bif file from your backup on the card & run the patcher.

FAT32 is correct. Open navcore 8.412. Copy the file titled system & paste it in your old card. Put the old card in your device and reboot. Once rebooted, shut it down. Put the new card back in and boot.

Sorry but the pix are to small to read, even after enlarging them.

If you formatted your new card to NFTS, then format it back to FAT32.

So what i must do with the system file.
I have formatted the new sd-card again so i must extract again the navcore and than what?

Is it possible that this is the wrong bootloader?
The newer one's support more storage-cards than this one? (I had this anwser of the internet)
