Hi,
Firstly, what a great forum! This is my first post so just saying "Hi". :)
I have a TomTom One XL with UK & ROI Maps 870.3419 installed and running fine on the device.
I popped a 2gb Kingston SD card in and manually copied Navcore 8.010.9369 to it. I downloaded the western europe maps v870.3514, extracted the rar and copied the folder to the SD card. I ran FastActivate, patched Navcore and activated the maps, but I'm having some problems;
The device isn't seeing the maps. It just says 'No maps found'. Also, everytime I start the device, I have to run through the 'first run' procedure i.e. Language, set time, voice.
Here is my config:
TTGO.BIF:
DeviceName=TomTom ONE XL
DeviceVersionHW=ONE XL
BootLoaderVersion=55136
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8010
ApplicationVersion=9369
CurrentMap=
CurrentMapVersion=0.0
TTGO.BAK:
Not Found...
TTGO.ORI:
Not Found...
Any help greatly appreciated and I'm sorry if this question has been asked before.

Confirm that this setup is on the internal memory.

Yes, Navcore 8.010 with UK maps is running fine on internal memory. Thanks.

Is the 8.010 on the card a copy of the internal 8010?

No, I downloaded navcore_8.010.9369.limerick_tts from the navcore thread. Should I copy the internal navcore to the SD card? Thanks

OK. 8.010 on the card is not patched. Copying the internal would be my choice.

Do the maps need to be in a particular folder? so that the TT recognises them? I tried the SE v9 navcore for 32mb devices. It worked but it's still not seeing the maps.

When you unzip a map, it creates it's own folder, which you then copied to the root of the device or card, whichever is being used.

Thanks. Tried a different SD card and it worked, so I think the card I was using was borked. I have another question (please!): I installed v9 navcore, and lastest Western Europe maps, but postcode search is only 4 digits. On previous version of TT i got full 7 digit search. Can I get 7 digit searching with this combination of navcore/maps?
Thanks again!
