Hi all,

I have a TT ONE New Edition which I've bought back in 2006. After putting up for so long with the frustration of not being able to use any of the new features of newer devices, I decided to update the navcore.
So, I downloaded the "8.415.one2009_plus.CAB-navcore-ONE" using the link posted in one of the discussions in this forum, which sent me to the TT download page (I think.... :-/ ).
Anyway, copied all files from the archive to the device and rebooted it.
The device seemed to be working but as I touch the screen all freezes and after 20 to 30 seconds it reboots itself and I haven't been able to change that behaviour; every time I touch the screen it freezes and then reboots.

Have I got the wrong navcore ?
Any help ?

Did you patch both the navcore & map?

Let me answer my own question: Reading further in the forum I've understood that on my device I can only run a navcore up to 7.903.
I've then downloaded it and all that silly rebooting+freezing problems have magically disappeared.
Now the remaining problem is with the maps.
I've downloaded the Europe_West_885_4058 which, accordin to the chart should work with nvacore 7.9xxx, used the "AutoActivate" downloaded from the forum and run it on the device (method 1).
When I start the TT I get the nasty "no maps on the system" message....

Any idea ?

Yes. As stated in post 2, you must activate both the Navcore & map. AutoActivate will only patch the map. You need FastActivate Premium 1.8.8.5 to patch the navcore.
