Ok,
The current navcore is 8410.1218 and boot 5.5106, both are copied from my last map update in 2008. But when patching the new map its says that the Navcore is already patched, which would have been from the 2008 where the Bluetooth worked ok with the same mobile as today.
I checked both folders of 2008 with map 825-2157 and of todays folder with map 850-2782, both bin folders in the navcore is the same in size and dates etc.
Checked with TT to check for my phone which is not listed, yet it did link via Bluetooth prior to the map update.
When I say the bluetooth don't work, meaning TT will search and find my phone but will not connect although asked to do so.
Is it worth using a later Navcore for use with the current map, boot and TT One V3.
thanks

Yet another with same problem. On TT One V3.
Updated navcore to 8.562 and uk & Ireland maps v 850.2871.
Downloaded and used fastactivator on maps - ttsystem - Home , all reported as patched OK
When operating TT get the dreaded 'you cannot use this map with this device'
Any suggestions please

Ok i think i know how to fix your bluetooth connecting problem, i think you are missing a file in your setup, look at my pic below at the 4 files and i think you will be missing connect2internet.db.encode if so copy it from a backup you have, if you do not have the file in a backup please say here and i will upload it for you.

OK thanks again.
Downloaded and copied to SD in TT.
My SE C510 will connect and send data to TT and accepted by TT.
My younger sons samsung SGH-F490V can see the TT and TT see the phone, but will not connect either way.
My elder sons Iphone cannot see the TT and yet the TT can see the phone, but will not connect.
The samsung SGH-F490V is the main user of the TT.
Would this be a fault of the phone or the TT where connection cannot be made.
Thanks again for your help, very much appreciated.

OK,
Apprarently from a phone call made to iphone by my son, iphone only connect to headsets and car kits.
Also looking on Google about bluetooth issues with iphone, there are 25 bluetooth profiles and iphone only supports 2.
So it looks like a dead duck regarding iphone connecting to TT via bluetooth.
Unless you know different or a fix.
thanks

The problem with bluetooth connections is the constantly changing profiles for the phones.
Most older phones work fine while newer models often make problems.
The only way to get around so far is to check on the TT website if your phone is supported by one of the TT models and select a Navcore for that model on your TT.
Handsfree is possible with several phones while data connections often require a different profile again which might not be supportet at all -either in the TT or the phone.

Had a reply from TT about this problem.
They blame the Network providers of the phones for having modifying the profiles.
The thing is, both the SE C510 and Samsung SGH-F490V are both on the same network 'Vodafone', so why should one connect and not the other. The iphone from what is said on Mobile forums, does not do file transfer.
I've made a reply to them,, so we shall wait what is said.
Having checked TT for compatibilty for the phones, niether is listed, yet the C510 is ok.

OK,
Had a reply from TT and they are more or less running from their customer service.
They now tell me both the C510 and Samsung have been tested and have been deemed incompatitible.
Yet although the C510 currently works with TT, they cannot guarantee its functionality, nor troubleshoot any future issues with this phone.
So if anyone wants to use a phone with TT you'd best check the TT site for compatibilty and buy a phone from the list just for that purpose.
Would it be worth trying a later Navcore for use with this TT One V3.??
