Can anyone point me in the direction of all the original files (excluding map) for the TomTom XL?
GPS stopped working properly, and apparently TomTom Home didn't do a proper backup.

We never use TT Home to make a back up. Now you see why. Copy & paste is the preferred method.

Home never does a proper backup that's why we recomend using Windows explorer.
But for the original files Home is your partner, just connect, do the updates until no other update is offered,
go to the mapshop and order the map of your choice, after a few minutes the map is available in Home to be installed on your device.
So much for original....
