Partitionate a map without TTH (select map zones to install)

Fri Jul 26, 2013 8:13 pm

Hello,

Was wondering if a map could be partitionated (select map zones to install) without TomTom Home.
Map is 1.83Go and my gps has 1.81Go of total place, including os.

I would like to do that for western europe 9.10 4973, all smaller versions of this map are older.

Thanks

Edit : Can someone tell me the name of TTH downloaded maps folder ? ( TomTom\HOME\Download\????? )

Are you aware that the 4973 maps are mainly for Carminat in car units?

ALL of the zone maps are included in the 910 map thread.

Europe_West_910_4892 [1340MB] is the full featured version.

Europe_West_910_4895 [1300MB] is a partial featured version.

Both maps have meta codes & are usable.

The chart is navcore specific, not device specific. Please read the comments in the big yellow box at the bottom of the 910 chart.

Well, i must be missing something because i'm still in trouble reading the chart.

In the 910.4973 line, i see yellow "Y" in all 9.xxx columns.

Also, i'm actually using France v910.4952 with navcore 9.401 without any problem, and TTH says it is last map version.
According to what i understand from the chart, that map version is compatible with any >=9.01X navcore versions.

Please enlight me :)

1. Per the chart, 910.4973 is a partial feature map & is compatible with navcore 8.2XX or higher.
2. Per the chart, 910.4952 is a no feature map & is compatible with navcore 7.8XX or higher. FYI, the current navcore for a XXL is 9.510.
3. Per the chart, full feature France_910_4892 [401MB] is the correct map for your device.

1. So what is the problem with 910.4973 and navcore 9.401 ? Unless problem is with missing Cspeech +ASR ?
2. I know, but after that navcore, radars are not displayed the same way in France but a 4km zone is displayed only, my choice ;).
3. Gonna stick with it for the moment as i don't need to go in other countries atm.

Thanks.

1. You said you couldn't read the chart. I read it for you!!
2. Your French speed cam files must be 19 months old!!

1. But you said 910.4973 is not for my device, from the chart, i still can't find why, that's the only reason i continue here ;)
2. I take files on this site, dunno how old files are (TomTom is still providing a service for this), but anyway i'm also using POI.
3. Gonna stick with France instead of equivalent Western_Europe version for which meta codes is not avalaible.

1. No, I asked if you are aware that the 4973 maps are mainly for Carminat in car units!
2. TomTom Official Speedcams 26.07.2013 is updated several times a week. Since 01/01/2012, the French files have been radar warning zones, not exact radar locations.
3. Did you not read post 2??
