Hi,i have been trying to figure this out but i am stuck and cant find the answer

I am trying to patch tomtom home with fastactivate tool so that i am able to put pin code on my device through operate my device on tomtom home

The device is tomtom go 520 with navcore 9.510
I am using maps numbers 1000.8641
Everything is patched without problem,navcore,map,speed camera,i have post codes working everything is fine and tomtom home loads up but when i go to the operate my device i cannot go any further on the screen because when i select a map on the screen i get the red screen saying i cannot use the map on this device
I am using an older version of tomtom home version 2.9.91.0 but with the ini file changed to the latest version to stop it from updating as they stopped support for my old device in later versions of tomtom home so i am not sure if this is something causing the issue with patching?
When i use fastactivate to patch tomtom home it goes through as normal and says it is patched,but i still encounter the problem as stated above
