my tomtom was working fine and just 1 day ago i updated and now i get a "this map cannot be displace in this devices or something like that..i restored with tomtom home and nothing....and i downloaded USA_and Canada_860_3128 and put all this in my north america2gb folder,, use activater from root and from folder and it just freezes...i have a tomtom xl please help.

i have searched this forum and all i see is tomtom xl one...

You must patch the new navcore.

can you please link me to the new navcore.....
i update in tomtom like i always had for map corrections and such and there was a tomtom core program of approx 33mb that i counldnt uncheck so i went ahead and installed it.

i guess is 9.4

from my tomtom home when i did restore.....then update i get this uncheckable "TomTom application for Tomtom one / xl / xxl /start / ease

and after i update to it ..that is what cause my map to stop working... and now it freezes and now even with restore i try to use activator 1.8 and it wont do anything

All you need to do is patch your new navcore with FastActivate Premium.

Well can you link me to where I can download this premium app.. Cause I used a activator that with map but one doesn't work

2. You are correct. The patcher with the map will not patch the navcore.

I downloaded this fast acticate 1.8.8.1 and i ran it on admin on both root folder and map folder and still it just freezes after i unplug.
i also try deleteing the currentmap file in root like stated in this forums under feezes but that doesnt work still.
any help would be great

The way to install a new Navcore is by doing it clean on an empty device with only the map folder and the folder voices present - overwriting can cause problems.
