2. With 9.430 loaded, can you put the contents of your internal memory, without the map, in a .rar, upload it & give me the link in a PM?

Gweedz wrote:For example in Trip1, the 20 sec, 50m do not change no matter how far/long I travel. When I reached my destination the bottom blue box changed from "distance to next turn" to 2D/3D, which is what it's supposed to do. To remove the 20 sec/50m values I need to cancel the route using the menu.

Gweedz wrote:1. Did you physically drive somewhere, or run a demo on the unit? When I ran a demo it worked fine. If you actually drove and it worked fine, then I'll try installing again - should only take a couple minutes as I'm becoming a pro at this! LOL
Yes, remaining time and distance count down to zero (I even tried stopping for a few seconds to give it time to "register" that I arrived), and then they either remain there if I keep driving (such as my photo Trip2), or it goes up a little and stays there such as photo Trip1. Then it doesn't change no matter how much I drive.
2. My understanding is if I overshoot the destination the remaining time and distance should count up as it recalculates a route to bring me back. This is what it used to do with my first install of 9.430.

Gweedz wrote:Here's exactly what it does, you tell me if it ends or not:
1 Remaining time and distance go to zero (or close to zero) and stop changing value. But do not clear (it thinks it's still routing me).
2 "next turn" box changes to 2d/3d. (as normal when routing ends)
3 "cancel route" button is still active. Pressing the button says "route cancelled". (as normal when routing is active)
4 Voice does not say destination reached. (as normal when routing didn't reach destination)
5 Red "line" on road showin route does not disappear when destination reached. (as normal when routing didn't reach destination)
According to all items except #2 route guidance didn't end. BUT it stops guiding me.
Anyway, I think we beat this dead horse enough - if it were a simple problem or something common that all beginers have then I'm sure you would have spotted the problem right away. Considering you don't understand what I'm explaining tells me it's something very rare, or maybe unique to my unit. Maybe the internal memory is corrupt, I dunno. I'll keep trying different things and if I hopefully figure it out I'll explain how I did it in case someone has a similar issue.
I really do appreciate all your help - you've gotten me this far that I'm sure I would have been much worse off if I did it completely on my own.
Thank you very much!

tendriver wrote:After more testing with my navcore only, the following is correct.
1. This is normal. It does not think it's still routing you.
2. Yes this is normal.
3. This is normal.
4. According to your navcore, your speaker is turned off.
5. This is normal.
Bottom line: your 720 is functioning normally in regards to this issue.
