Postcodes not working

Postcodes not working

Postby RodA » Fri Aug 05, 2011 8:48 am

I upgraded from 7.903 to 8.412 in my GO300 V1.20.

I installed W&CE 2GB V845.2647 maps and found the postcodes didn't work, you enter them but they are not recognised.

I've just changed to CE V870.3319 maps and the problem is the same.

Is the issue the change from 7.903 to 8.412?

Any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks

Rod

The GO300 (in the UK at least) never had 7 digit postcodes, All you need is the latest postcode files from the latest map thread and extract the files to a folder called Zip in the root of the SD card.

Thanks tendriver I've downloaded the file.

Can I just check, I have two SD cards that I use, one with UK maps that I want to use the postcodes, the other with non-uk maps where there are no postcodes.

Can I copy the file into the UK map SD card, or must it be into the Tom Tom?

Thanks

Quoted from TomTom.com: "Note: The 'zip' folder must be copied to the 'root' of your TomTom device".
