I now have another problem but i am more than likely doing things wrong.

I ran the navcore and installed and i also installed the new map. i then tried to run the fastactivate and got the following (please see attached). if i type yes it just keeps asking the same question.
I also tried a clean install with the same results

So as it stands if i switch tomtom on i get the message 'You cannot use this map on this device'.

any help would be appreciated.

1. You don't type "yes", just "y".
2. Looks like you have an old version of the patcher. Latest is FastActivate ENG 09.01.2011 {1.8.03}
3. If still no go, there are several other tools to try.

I only typed Y
Also tried the newer version as above and also tried Easy activator 6 but no go.

Bummer!! Have you confirmed that the meta for the new map is in the patcher's meta file? As a review, post a step by step with all of the who, what, when and wheres that you can.

tendriver sorry to sound stupid but where do i get the meta for the map?

also, when i run the activator are you supposed to get 4 options to click, i see nothing only the choice to type 'Y'

If you haven't changed anything since your post 33, your problem appears to be the map folder within a map folder issue. Open your unit & click on the map folder. If you see a single map folder rather than files, remove the 2nd folder from the 1st folder & copy it on the root.

Attached is an updated FastActivate file. Give it a go.

Got it working using the 4.1D keygen. I think you were right as i didn't have the map meta in the the meta file.
