Why is when i get directed to the Protect My Links site to download a file i cannot download. I type in the 2 words and nothing happens?

Could i please have advise on which navcore and maps should e used for tomtom XL 30 series/330

What files are you having a problem with?

Hi tendriver,

i have tried to download a couple of various files to try like the ones on the post below:

•Download X_Navcore.9.205.547817.1.Basicpack and copy the complete contents to your device, overwriting any common files

•Download X_ttsystem.9.205.547817.1 and copy the contents of the .rar file to your device overwriting when/if prompted (Exept the file readmenot.txt, leave this out)

•Download your required map (I will use this map as an example , change the map to whatever country/version you require) United Kingdom & Republic of Ireland 850.2781 ,

•When downloaded extract the files to a folder in the root of your device named United_Kingdom_&_Republic_of_Ireland_850.2781.


but i could not download any files.

What navcore and central europe maps would be best for my tomtom XL 30 series/330

I just downloaded both of the above files with no problem.

Does your device have 1GB or 2GB internal memory? What is your current navcore & map?

I have 1GB internal memory and navcore 8.083, what is the map i should update with.

Central Europe 860.3126 [820.1MB]

Many thanks for this, can i just copy this over or do i need to patch my tomtom or the map, as you can tell i am a bit new to all this.

Make a backup.
3. Go here: TomTom Automatic Navcore Installation Read ALL of the instructions carefully. Select: SE_Navcore.9.205.547817_32mb_devices.rar (Widescreen ONLY)

4. Go here: 860 maps with installer and Fast Activate Read ALL of the instructions carefully. Select: Central_Europe_860_3126 802mb

I have got the central europe maps now but i cannot download the Navcore from protect my links, is this file on Megaupload or is it anywhere else?

Maybe the reason you can't download the navcore is because it is on easy-share, not Protect My Link.

I'm beginning to give up ...LOL

With easyshare i have left it for an hour and it says nothing, so i try it again and it says i have a download in progress...not that i can see.

I had no problem. [Please Register or Login to download file]

The reason i use the protect-my-links website is because i have had 100% suxcess rate with my files hosted on easy share and protected with protec-my-links, the links you are having trouble with do work, so please take your time read the page's twice untill you understand what to press and type , then you will be fine ;)

There is no Protect my links involved in the link he is using.

If i go to the site i see this page first (picture 1), i am a registered user for that site and logged in. I type the 2 words and press slow download, or enter i have tried.

I then get the following message (picture2)

After i have waited i try again by pressing regular download and i then get a countdown (picture 3)

I have then waited for over an hour and nothing happens, i then try again and get the following message (picture4).
