Questions regarding XL (2008)

Postby sunstarfire » Thu Jun 16, 2011 3:51 pm

Hi all, I know these questions will sound stupid for some, but I will try to ask them so it's clear and they may be answered quickly, because I feel quite unsure.

I have a TT XL.

According to the model comparison chart, this seems to be similar to the XL340. That one uses a newer boot loader and a later Navcore.

Can/should I upgrade to the later Navcore?
Would I get things like IQ routes?
Or should I be happy with what I have now, which is the latest 870-map running fine?

Thanks a lot :)

1. It's like a XL325/330.
2. It's your choice. IQ routes reqires navcore 8.2XX or higher.
3. Which 870 map?

1. You are Welcome.
2. Every navcore has it's own bootloader. When you install a new navcore, you get a new bootloader.
3. OK that is a no feature map.

new: With a backup of your current setup to fall back on, you can try anything you wish.

9.024.475740 set to x40 with 870-3604 (just DE/AT/CH, because of the size of the one for Europe) boots, talks and does IQ routes. Testing tomorrow, but at least it's running.

Good news!! You can test it now by creating a route & running a demo of it.
