Quick question about mem. card on One XL

Postby Saxon8 » Sat Jan 15, 2011 7:15 pm

Okay, just followed the advice in this thread

http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?3114-Completely-Stuck-ONE-XL-with-Work-Truck/page2

and in particular this post by djc
http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?3114-Completely-Stuck-ONE-XL-with-Work-Truck&p=17406#post17406

and it is now working w00t.

Just one problem though, it is as slow as anything, the device reports (when I can eventually navigate there!) 0.0mb free :O

I was reading something about clearflash tool but does it erase any information that is possibly needed (favourites etc.) as this is not my device!

Thanks

Well, whoever BD is, if you get the opportunity tendriver, can you please thank him for taking the time and trouble to produce this wonderful package and a big thumbs up to your good self as per usual, you have both come up trumps with that one, pulled a weal wabbit out the hat there my friend! I don't know what to say, I have spent 7 hours today copying, patching, this, that, pulling my hair out with no success at all but you have come to my aid once again and sorted me out in 5 minutes flat

Works a treat :)

Thank you both very much

You need Navcore 8.300 with B/L 5.5015 or newer to use SDHC cards.

Tendriver, thanks alot!

I read that 8.412 should be a good one, but I have to have bootloader 5.5112 to get it to work? And I´m recommended not to go higher than bootloader 5.5022...

Am i on thin ice? Should i go for 8.300, what difference to 8.412??

Thanks for all your hard work, I really love your forum!!

The 5.5112 is safe to use sae goes for the 5.5128.
The 8.412 is imho the better choice and there an optimised version for 32mb available.
As long as you don't use a BL from a V9 Navcore you should be fine.

1. Neither statement is correct.
2. TomTom Automatic Navcore Installation

Hello tendriver, how come the link to the 8.398 dump was removed? I've looked over the whole forum as best I can but can't see it. Luckily I've got it but it would be nice to be able to grab it again should I inadvertently have an accident on my puter which I am prone to do! :) especially as it worked so well for me. Thanks.

Is there a reason that you are in the "Invisable Mode"?

Not really no, is that why I can't see it? :)
