Yes.

Download this map: North_America_2GB_870_3406 with Automatic Installer & Patcher
Download this navcore: http://download.tomtom.com/sweet/navcore/9.205.rider3.CAB-navcore-RIDER.cab & X_ttsystem.9.205.547817.1.rar
Copy everything on your 720 internal, except the map folder, to your card.
Copy the 9.205 navcore to the card, overwriting any common files. Copy only the ttsystem & PNDNavigator files from the .rar to the card, overwriting any common files.
Run the map Auto Installer.
Done!!

When the card is in your 720, it will be the default setup. Remove the card & you are back to the internal setup.

Remember you can (on x20/x30/x40/x50's) just add new maps to an SD card without needing to incl the navcore

1. This is correct.
2. No.
3. Close the popups. Scroll to the bottom of the Linksave.in page. The 8 part download links are there.

I downloaded all 200MBs of Part 6 as a regular Navitotal member, with no problem. Delete any previous Part 6 files & please try again.

Do I just unpack and load to SD card using map with installer?

Yep. You must also put a copy of your device's ttgo.bif file on the card before you patch the map. Keep in mind that by not putting a navcore on the card, you will have to also patch your 8.351 navcore & 815 map.

Did all steps per Tendriver post Unit will not boot up with SD card. It did boot op once with something in a foreign language. Touched screen and it went on to ask which map but if I select second one it won't complete bootup. Without card it seems ok

1. Downloaded North_America_2G_870_3406 with automatic installer and patcher.
2. Downloaded [Please Register or Login to download file]
3.Copied backup from unit to card minus NorthAmerica map file
4:Copied Navcore to card
5.Copied TTsystem and PNDNAVIGATOR files from extracted rar file to card
6. Ran mapauto installer.

I get splash TomTom screen and then unit locks up . To turn it off I have to push reset button.

2. Confirm you downloaded these as two seperate downloads. First [Please Register or Login to download file] Then X_ttsystem.9.205.547817.1.rar
