TomTom told me to copy 'mapsettings.cfg' in, the map folder, to my PC then delete the copy on my TT. It stopped the rebooting cycle, but I still got the odd random reboot. I suggest you remove 'mapsettings.cfg' from your backup then go through the procedures outlined above. I had the problem for over a month (out of the country, touring) got home and ran clearflash twice and reformatted my TT disc twice before going (meticulously) through the re-installation procedure. Maybe OTT but my TT (GO 910, boot loader 5.5229, navcore 9.026.483454.1, maps 8855_2884 W&CE and North America) has worked fine since. 64 MB RAM, around 12 RAM free.

Thats right !
Using the navcore version 8.351 the rebooting problem is gone.
But installing another navcore it's back so for me this navcore is the right one.
I will contact TomTom for this GPS problem.
Thanks all for your help !

I've followed the instruction of downunder in #26 and the rebooting was solved.
I reported that in #29 but the GPS problem was still there.
After contact with TomTom I've found out that there is a GPS hardware problem.
So this is the end !
