Reboots when redirecting

Postby smegal » Tue Oct 01, 2013 9:21 pm

Hello,

I have a TomTom One V2 that I have updated the Navcore and map. However, when it re routes on long journeys, it reboots. I am trying to work out how to remedy this.

Here are the details:

ttgo.bif:
DeviceName=TomTom ONE
DeviceVersionHW=ONE (v3)
DeviceSerialNumber=E2xxxxxxxxxx
BootLoaderVersion=55122
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9485
ApplicationVersion=1074274.98
CurrentMap=United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_915_5074
CurrentMapVersion=915.5074

Map(s):
g:\United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_915_5074\
g:\Middle_East_885_4088\
g:\Europe_915_5074\

Storage:
Size 3834MB, Free 880MB

It is slightly odd that it says one V3 above...

How much free RAM do you have with an active route?

You have a ONE Second Edition, AKA ONE V3.

It has about 8Mb.

The navcore is a memory boost version. It only seems to do it on long routes, so it may just be too much for it.

8mb is quite fine and should work ok.
However, POI's are eating a lot of RAM too.
It might help to deselct all POI's from showing on the map.
If that does not work I'm afraid you reached the limits.
