Rider (V1)

Postby kiiiirk » Mon Jun 21, 2010 3:52 pm

Hello,

nice forum!

Here is my problem : I can't find informations about "modifying" my rider V1.
I know it is a particular model as it only has the Bluetooth to communicate sounds (no speaker).
I read some users trying to crack it and were "bluetoothless" at the end of the procedure.
Does anyone already cracked its rider V1?
And what was the process? Please.

Thanks
K.

[Please Register or Login to download file] you can find the new 9.201 optimised for the Rider1 and 2, gives about 5to7mb free Ram and all funktions work.
Download the [Please Register or Login to download file] as well - rename the ending to ZIP and unpack all files with "data" in the filename to the root of your device.
It will reboot once after the start - that is normal and should not be interrupted.
The _Navcore is already patched and you only need to add an activated map.

Waooh !!
Thank you for so much help. And so fast.
In fact I would like to be able to update my map (or install a new one that I could update). If I understand well first of all I have to modify or replace my navcore (wich is the original one updated).

Djc : I am going to use the Downunder files first. Thanks for your proposition.

Downunder : I am unable to install you DLL pack. The answer is :
"Firefox could not install the file located at [Please Register or Login to download file]
Unexpected installation issue. Console error 203."
Same same with IE.
(not the same code ...).

It is ok for the 9.20 Rider self.rar.
One first question : To update the navcore the procedure is the same as djc explained here http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?991-How-to-update-Navcore ?

XPI is the extension for Firefox plugins as well - renmeit to .zip and unpack the files with Winrar or so.
With the Navcore I posted it is best to unpack the Home DLL files and copy the files containing "data" in the filename to the root of your device.
After the first start with this Navcore there will be a rebbot - that is normal!

The problem is that Firefox try to instal it. I have no choice. I cannot just download it.
Is there another way to get and install that DLL pack as a XP user?

Ooops ...
I did not read well enough sorry.
What do you call "filename" ?
I only write the files to the root of my SD?

Ok, I try it the simple way...
Rename the .xpi file to .zip.
Unpack the files to your pc.
There are several files wich cotain "data" in the filename - copy these files to the root of your TT or the memory card (whichever is used to boot).
Confirm to overwrite if asked.
After that the menu will be fine.

Navcore installed correctly. But no way to get Bleutooth connection with the TomTom headset (there is no speaker on the rider...)
Also with the keygen I am unable to generate a new meta file. I get "There was an error downloading the meta file try again later".
I always have it. Even for speedcams.
So the map doesn't work.

Is there another way to have a correct meta file?
Can I extract it from my original map (which runs correctly) ? (How to?)
The map is France 850.2820.

Thanks.
