Thanks for the info. I will do a file comparrison and compare between the two. And in answer to your question, The 7.6.3 works at perfect speed. Arrow never lags behind, instant response in menu options and route planning, even keyboard is 100% responsive. Have tried other versions but with lagging arrow about 200 meters from my position and sometimes even stopping completely.
Getting back to the TomTom issue, i think that my CE6 is now perfect. Thanks for the info that you gave me from Guidorenato.I must be honest, not one of the versions that i downloaded from the site worked for me. Always had the memory issue at some stage or the other, mainly straight after installing. I stuck with my version 7.450 from Dodobird but what seemed to do the final trick, was to remove the navigator.cfg and let it create a new one. After that, i never had a Not Enough Memory problem. I don't even shut down with a route anymore and it boots up fine. Had it on and off maybe 20 times over the last two days and all is fine.

I'm glad you got things sorted out with TomTom, it is amazing what a bit of experimentation can do.
So now you have Navigon and TomTom working on your CE6 device and that means you don't need the CE5 device now, doesn't it?

As for the navigator.cfg file, it may have done the same for mine to work, since as well as using Guidorenato's MapSettings.cfg, I deleted all of those files that are generated by running TomTom Navigator.exe and reloaded Tom Tom.

I will have an experiment when I have time to see if I can load 7.910 and the Western Europe map and get it to work on a new memory card without having to leave just 2-3 MB free. Deleting just navigator.cfg.

My only concern is, if it were just a case of deleting navigator.cfg and let it regenerate a new one to make your TomTom work, why wouldn't this be a well posted fix? I mean you struggled to get an answer anywhere didn't you?

Yep, battled for a couple of weeks to get TomTom running perfectly on CE6. As for CE5, i will still continue to experiment with Navigon till i get it right, as i really like the larger 5.1" screen and the program. As you are aware TomTom running 100% on CE5, with NDrive 10.15 and Sygic MobileMaps 10. iGO8 and iGO Primo
