Retrieved my daughters xl from her today and loaded the serena file that downunder pointed me to the other evening and oops no sound looked in the tts file and no ogg files??

The ogg files are only what you hear when you click on "TEST", they have no further purpose.
If the voice is working don't waorry about the missing oog's.

Samatha runs OK. Serena utters not a peep!!!

I never used the voice, only Karen and she worked fine.
Checked the contents of the archive and the files are all there.
The .ogg files are of no importance, but I think to remember that there were problems with the vocalizer voices on some devices before.
Not sure though if it was related to a particular voice or the vocalizer's in general.
Only difference I can spot is the folder name (needs renaming), the missing .ogg file and the fact that it is not a rar archive - all the files are there.
Checked the files from another forum but they are the same as mine :(
Will try to find the original CAB on the net...
In general:
There should not be a LoquendoTTS folder
If a SE Navcore is used TTSOFF must be set, if the Navcore is designed for the device and supports LoquendoTTS already the SE version must be used too.
Only one voice can used.
The folder name must be "VocalizerTTS"

Edit:
Found out that several voices incl. Serena and Karen are not designed for TT PNA's.
They come from the iPhone app and had been modified, which explains that there is no Cab to be found.

Please help me, i have a TT one IQ routes (64meg), i want to make Karen work, is that possible?
If i understand the post of Downunder35m, if i use a SE Navcore i must rename the LoquendoTTS to VocalizerTTS and make sure TTSOFF is set?

Nope misunderstanding:
If you want to use Vocallizer voices you must delete the LoquendoTTS folder - you can only use either type of voices.
And yes, inside the setconfig.txt TTSOFF must be set.
I had the Karen voice working ages ago to test an australian voice but I can't remember which Nvcore I used - it might have been the 8.562, not sure if they still work with V9 Navcores.
It might also be necessary to delete (backup) the libaec_**.so files in the root as they are used for the LoquendoTTS voices.

Samantha works fine just can't get a peep out of serena so she will have to put up with the US accent!

I must say i am very new at this, i just saw if i ad a LoquendoTTS or a VocalizerTTS folder to the TT the computer voices are not blanked out in Home, but no voices are available for download. I tried Different navcores, i get from Samantha working to a rebooting system. All i want to know is it possible and how?

If you want to download TTS voices and some other things you need to log into your account.

The IQ routes model supports TTS voices, so with the original NC it is no problem to download them.

but how do i enable them for download. Like i said the computer voices are blanked out with the original navcore. I dont understand it, if there is something small i am overlooking please help me out
