sluggish device

i updated a tom tom one XL sd card model navcore 9051 and western europe maps 855.2885

but the device seems very sluggish and slow to respond at time

any advice would great, i have tried clear flash tool and its no better

it has a 2 gig class 2 sd card in

Please confirm the map version.

On a side note, you might consider reducing the size of your signature.

Thanx. I can't find any reference on any of the forums to a .2885 version.

OK, you posted Western Europe 855.2885. Europe West 855.2885 is a completely different ZONE map.

tried reflashing with the 9051 autoi install navcore , have about 3.2mb ram free but still seems sluggish

I know you are dealing with a 32MB unit, but the free RAM should be better 3.2.The SE version of 9.051 is defaulted to x40.This navcore is Very RAM memory friendly. 5-6 MB free is normal with 64Mbs. With 9.051, free RAM is up around 17MB

thats what im thinking it could be ram problem, try a full clean install in the morning and see how it goes

I reccomend using our AutoInstaller for 9.205 for your device ;)

tired9.205 and now only have 1.5 mb ram free

i have things like vocalizer installed but its very sluggish?

Please try a clean/fresh install,

  • Backup your current setup
  • Delite all contents of your drive, (Just a delite and NOTa Formatt)
  • Install 9.205 Autoinstaller from this website ;)

What free Ram were you getting with the installed setup prior to 9.051? Was that setup slugggish also?

yes it was also sluggish but getting about 3 mb free ram, deleted everything and trying fresh auto install of 9.205 will report back later

Was the navcore in the last setup the offical 8010?
