Is there a way to get the software from a XL v4 on the XL v2

I have a tomtom XL v4 with a bad battery.
Got a tomtom XL v2 with a good battery

But the v2 has not got al the same menu's as the v4

Both the Tomtom's have the latest navcore and maps

Just connect the device via USB to the PC and copy the files to a folder in the second device, delete Navcore and copy from the folder from the first one. Make a backup first!!!

I did not try that yet.
I thought the tomtom will complain about a serienumber mixup.

It didn't work.

Tomtom started up. But complained about the map that was installed.
I already had that problem before I knew that the software was different then the V4
I fixed that by copying something from the ttgo.bif from the V4 to the V2 because de V4 didn't have any problem with the map.

But that did not work the second time.

Gave up and copied all the files of the backup back. And was happy it worked again

Download Navcore, I am sending a link, one of these will work 100%. You just need to copy it to TomTom. Also copy the necessary map 1135 and supply tle map either use keygen 4.1 or TTactivator tested on TomTom XXL
