upgraded my mates tom tom1 a few wekks agao to navcore 8.417 and everything was working fine

but now after about a couple of miles of a journey the sound stops

i tested it by preparing a route and in demo mode it does the same, it seems to disappear after a speed camera alert

anyone one else had this issue

If it happens after speedcams, maybe speedcam warning sound file is damaged or not compatible, this is just a guess and if you use some extra voice ?
try to remove speedcam warning sound and test again, then we know.....and look too how much memory avalable after routing ?

when i plan a route there is 4.1 mb free,i use a computer voice on tom tom vocalizer but only have 1 voice installed so no conflict there, i cant alter speed cam sounds as this option is in tom tom services and that icon is blacked out on the device, any idea what model text i need to put in to get it so that the icon cn be selected

how is the battery status when the sound goes off, as a standerd feature with all tomtom's when the battery gets to a certain percentage left the sound switches off , this enables you to navigate longer.

sorted now it wasnt the battery think it was conflicting with speed cam sounds reset and changed average speed cam sound and ran demo and seems fine now
