Hi,

I have an old tomtom one 3rd edition and I updated the navcore to 9.485 and map 940.5963, I downloaded the 2015.02 speed camera files. Fastactivate successfully patched the map and speed camera file. But when I go to - Tomtom service - Speed Cameras, the icon is greyed out and I could not click on it.

Could some please help to let me know how could I enable the speed cameras? Thanks a lot!

Did you copy the files to your countrymap?
And which speedcams did you download exactly?

Yes, copied to the country map, downloaded the TomTom Official Speedcams 10.02.2015 and I copied the two Australia files. the files were successfully patched and I can see the dct file, but the speed cam is greyed out in the app.

Do you have more than one map on your device?

nope, only the Australia one.

Strange thing.

Delete the .dct file and try to activate it again.
If that doesn't work, is it poosible to post a screenshot of the map folder and the root of your device. Somdtimes a picture sais more than a thousant words. :D

Are you talking about 'Live Services' because I'm not sure that icon will work unless you have a 'Live' subscription?

If you put the speedcam files within the map folder and activated it, they will work.
Try planning a route with a known speedcam on it....and then run a demo of the route to see if the speedcam alert comes up.

You don't need a Live subsription to make that icon work. It will work if you have at least one set of acivated original speedcams in your map folder. Normally...............
