SpeedCams not showing certain Speed Cams in situ.

OK,

Did a try of reloading 9.205 again with just map, but this time without the 9.205 folder.

It operated to the 'Legal notice' screen waiting for me to click 'I agree', but when clicked to agree it turns blue and hangs. A few seconds later it reboots through to Legal notice.

Did open the 9.205 folder and copied 3 files to device and overwritten as wished. Still as above.

In both cases did run Fastactivate to get dct for map.

1. The 9.205 folder is not to be opened, nor are the three files to be copied to the device.
2. As stated earlier, "Once a map is patched, it never needs patching again, unless it is copied to a different device.

But did get alittle further than in post #27 & 29.

Deleted all files again except map and re-installed 9.205 only without system and fastactivate, disconnected device.
Now will operate as far as the Legal Notice screen, and when clicking 'I agree', it hangs for awhile then loops back through re-boot to the Legal Notice screen.

Whats the next step.

I've put 8.410 back on my SD and setup the preferences I wanted as before.

Now I've added my Favourites, speed cams, poi, post codes in my zip file.

I added in the quick menu preferences the 'switch day/night view' and 'report safety camera'. But when I try the quick menu on the touch screen, the 'report safety camera' is greyed out and cannot operate, yet the switching of day/night screen is OK.

Any clues ?

You don't need a headset.

OK, did an experiment.

I put 9.401 on my TT and worked fine, but cannot run it from TT Home with same message with the Map issue saying theres a problem with the 512 meta map as previous yet it runs fine otherwise on its own.

Where i cannot run it with TT Home I put my favourites into the map but the cfg file cannot be reconfig via Home random add/favourite.

TT Home needs to be patched for 9.401. Keep in mind that TT Home "Operate my device" is only a emulation/simulation, & is not the "real thing".

Patched TT Home and favourites sorted.

Although my TT is working with 9.401 with 32MB of ram, it freezes after a few selections on the menu screens.

Looking at my ram capacity, there is 0MB of 32MB Free.

Downloaded and installed 9.401.1.1021 Cab navcore from its Cab file.

From its files etc loaded onto my Device, are there any folder/files not needed I can delete to help and gain some spare RAM to stop the device from freezing.

The 32MB of Ram is not the same as the memory where the navcore is loaded. Deleting files and folder will not gain you any Free Ram.

Yes the SE_9.401 works great, all the installs of speedcams, 2 voices, poi, art (car), CanadaAlaska map, TT ervices etc and post codes.
